Lucas, Lacombe, Kokes and Spencer Score NOW600 Wins at Gulf Coast Speedway

ALVIN, Texas (May 22, 2022) - Jacob Lucas, Cash Lacombe, Cody Kokes and David Spencer each picked up National Open Wheel 600 Series wins on Saturday at Gulf Coast Speedway.

A showdown with the NOW600 Ark-La-Tex Region and the NOW600 Weekly Racing series, Jacob Lucas topped the Stock Non-Wing feature event win. Weldon Buford was second with Mike Walling in third. John Pate claimed fourth with Tanner Dunlap from 11th rounding out the top five.

Ricky Raper was sixth with Alex Karpowicz finishing in seventh. Chancelor Williams from 18th was eighth at the line. Kaden Trotter finished ninth after starting 20th. Karson Battarbee rounded out the top ten.

Buford, Karter Battarbee and Ricky Raper were heat winners.

Cash Lacombe picked up the NOW600 Ark-La-Tex Region Restricted feature event win. Degan Lelsz was second with Brannon Lucas in third. KayDee Howard finished in fourth with Anthony Rea the top five.

Sixth went to Dalten Maust. Jude Allgayer finished in seventh. Beau Chapman took eighth with Dilynn Hamelman in ninth and Kinzlie Riley finishing out the top ten.

Lelsz and Howard each won heat races.

Cody Kokes was victorious in Turf Tire action. Randy Raper finished in second with Reggie Threlkeld crossing in third. Joe Duncan was fourth and Rylie Yates made up the top five.

David Spencer picked up the Junior Sprint feature event win. Ashlynn Slough claimed the runner up spot. Jase Raper was third with Carolynn Sanders crossing in fourth. The top five rounds out with Brylee Harbert.
