Sokol and Spicola Score NOW600 Mile High Opener Wins at El Paso County Raceway
CALHAN, Colo. (April 24, 2022) - Colby Sokol and Enzo Spicola each split victories on Saturday during the NOW600 Hi Plains Building Division Mile High Region opener at El Paso County Raceway.
15 Stock Non-Wing and 5 Restricted 'A' Class Micro Sprints were on hand for the season opener.
Rolling from the fifth starting spot, Colby Sokol captured the Stock Non-Wing feature event win. Austin Ullstrom finished in the second spot with Ed Libonati finishing in third. Christian Galicia was fourth with Cory Mallo the top five.
Tim Snelling finished in sixth. Seventh went to Mike Snelling. Hunter Finney scored eigth with TJ Stark and Chase Spicola the top ten.
Galicia and Sokol were victorious in heat race action.
Enzo Spicola claimed the feature event win in Restricted competition. Skyler Keeney took home the runner up spot with Ryleigh Whittle claiming the final step of the podium. Silas Cleaveland and TJ Stark were the top five.
Spicola also scored the lone heat race win.
The NOW600 Mile High Region races on Sunday, April 24 at I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan, Colorado.
