Coles County Speedway to Sanction with NOW600 in 2022!
MATTOON, Illinois (February 10, 2022) - The banner of the National Open Wheel 600 Series is set to fly across the state of Illinois in 2022.
Coles County Speedway in Mattoon, IL has become the first track to sanction their Friday night program under the NOW600 Hi Plains Building Division Weekly Racing series in the state of Illinois.
Coles County Speedway will feature 6 classes of Micro Sprints competing on Friday nights.
Outlaw Micros, Non-Wing Outlaw Micros, NOW600 A-Class Micros, NOW600 Stock Non-Wing Micros, NOW600 Restricted Micros and Junior Sprints.
“We are excited to work with Chris, Kevin and the board at Coles County in 2022.” stated NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox. “It is cool to see the NOW600 banner continue to sweep the country while debuting in Illinois.”
2022 NOW600 Weekly Racing Champion in each A-Class and Non-Wing will pocket $500 while the Restricted Champion will take home a cool $300 top prize. Drivers in the Top 10 in points, ran 80% or more of the races and are NOW600 Members will receive point fund.

Coles County Speedway will kick off their season on Friday, May 6 and will conclude on Friday, September 30.
