Colby Sokol Captures NOW600 Mile High Region Event at El Paso County Raceway
CALHAN, Colo. (Sept. 12, 2021) - Colby Sokol took an off week with the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Championship to return to action close to home over the weekend and capturing the NOW600 Hi Plains Building Division Mile High Region on Saturday at El Paso County Raceway.
From the pole of the 20-lap feature event, Colby Sokol picked up the feature event win. Second went to Justis Sokol with Chase Spicola crossing in the third spot. Christian Galicia claimed the fourth spot with Tim Snelling the top five.
Mike Snelling claimed sixth. Seventh went to Evan Harvey with Hunter Finney and Bradley Cox making up the field.
Both Sokol brothers picked up heat race wins.
The Mile High Region of the National Open Wheel 600 Series will get back to action on Saturday, Sept. 25 at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colorado.
