NOW600 Arkansas Small Car Nationals Falls to Mother Nature
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (February 21, 2021) - Over 20 inches of snow between two snow storms the last week and half have forced officials to cancel this weeks Arkansas Small Car Nationals at I-30 Speedway featuring the NOW600 Lucas Oil Micro Sprint National Championship presented by the Hi Plains Building Division.
“There is just not enough time for the snow to melt and then time for it to dry out before this weekend on top of a forecast showing rain on Friday and Saturday.” said NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox. “We appreciate the Clay’s for the opportunity to allow us to put on this event, but Mother Nature had other plans.”
Officials are working on scheduling a makeup date and should be announced soon if a date is found.
The NOW600 National Micros will now start the season on March 5-6 at Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Oklahoma for the 4th Annual Spring Nationals.
