Ryder Laplante Scores First Career Lucas Oil NOW600 National Restricted 'A' Class Championship

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (December 19, 2018) - The third time was the charm for Ryder Laplante as the Calera, Oklahoma native finally sealed the deal and captured the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Championship in the Restricted 'A' Class division.
After being the runner up the past two seasons to Daison Pursley, Laplante championship title was won with a slim one point margin over Ryan Timms.
Ryder competed in all 24 feature events contested during the 2018 season. Out of those 24 starts, he earned six feature event wins, A series high 19- Top 5's and another series high 23- Top 10's.
Ryder competed in 18 Winged A-Class events during the season. He ended up fourth in National Winged A-Class points with 8- Top 10 finishes.
Ryder Laplante will return to full time competition with the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies in 2019. Congratulations to 2018 Restricted 'A' Class NOW600 Lucas Oil National Champion, Ryder Laplante!
