Fulk Sweeps the Weekend; McIntosh Named Mountain West Champion

STURGIS, South Dakota (Sept. 15, 2018) - Ryan Fulk swept the NOW600 Mountain West Region presented by Hoosier Racing Tire championship weekend at the Jackpine Gypsies Short Track by picking up the Saturday night finale feature.

Doug McIntosh was named the inaugural NOW600 Mountain West Regional Champion!

In Hoosier Tire Qualifying, Wren Jacobs set quick time with a 12.261 second lap. Doug McIntosh was second quick with a 12.309 and Payton Parks third with a 12.326 lap.

Starting third on the A-Main lineup, Ryan Fulk had his work cut out to make his way to the front and would go on to pick up the victory. Doug McIntosh crossed in the second spot. Third went to Jeff Wignall. Fourth was Jason Robins with Clint Nelson rounding out the top ten.

Zach Kostaneski finished in the sixth spot. Seventh was Niko Bailes. Payton Parks eighth. Tallen Hansen ninth with Wren Jacobs bringing up the top ten.

Heat race winners was Fulk and Wignall.

Tonight concluded the 2018 season for the NOW600 Mountain West Region presented by Hoosier Racing Tires. Thank you to the drivers, the fans, the sponsors and the promoters for their support.
