Cory Kelly Captures NOW600 Mile High Triumph at El Paso County Raceway
CALHAN, Colo. (Sept. 9, 2018) - Cory Kelly captured his fourth NOW600 Mile High Micro Sprint triumph on Saturday night at the El Paso County Raceway
His second winged event win at El Paso County Raceway, Kelly started on the pole of the 20-lap A-Main and would run off to pick up the victory. Current point leader with the Mile High Micros, Skylar Rhoades finished in the runner up spot after starting in position four. Jared McIntyre rounded out the podium. Christian Galicia finished in the fourth spot with Brad Ernst picking up the fifth spot.
Cameron Willhite maneuvered eight spots to capture the sixth spot. Seventh went to John Barr. Austin Ullstrom picked up the eighth spot with Scott Lutz ninth. The top ten rounded out with Brianna Rhoades.
Kelly picked up the first heat race while McIntyre captured the second heat at El Paso County Raceway.
The NOW600 Mile High Micro Sprints will return to competition on September 22 at the El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colorado.
