Hershey and Babich Top NOW600 Mountain West Field on Night 1 at Jackpine Gypsies
STURGIS, S.D. (June 17, 2018) - Logan Hershey and Chance Babich topped the NOW600 Mountain West Region field on Friday night during the two night event held at Jackpine Gypsies Short Track in Sturgis.
Hershey started in the fifth spot coming to the green flag in the nights Winged A-Class Main Event would hold off Wren Jacobs for the win. Doug McIntosh crossed in the third spot. Jeff Wignall finished fourth and Ryan Fulk brought up the top five.
Nick Olson and Hershey each won their Heat Races.
Chance Babich claimed his first feature win with the Restricted 'A' Class division on Friday. Tallen Hansen held onto second with Nikko Bailes coming home in third.
Hansen was the Restricted Heat winner.
