Flud Doubles Up and Moore Scores Third Straight in NOW600 Competition

Inside Line Promotions – WAINWRIGHT, Okla. (Aug. 16, 2014) – Frank Flud earned a pair of NOW600 Series victories and Matt Moore recorded his third consecutive win on Friday at Outlaw Motorsports Park.

Flud charged from seventh to claim his series-leading third A-Class feature triumph. Dylan Ward maneuvered from fourth to second place and second-starting Chad Bell finished third. Earl McDoulett Jr. rallied from eighth to fourth place and Shane Weeks rounded out the top five after starting on the pole.

Jason McDougal and Kyle Keeler both won a heat race.

Flud also powered to the Non-Wing feature win – his first with the NOW600 Series this season –after taking the green flag from the pole position. McDoulett Jr. advanced from third to second place and Keeler from fifth to third place. Points leader Bailey Felkins drove from 10th to fourth place and Ward capped the top five after starting fourth.

McDougal, Keeler and Cord Dodson each scored a heat race victory.

Moore notched his series-leading fourth win of the season and his second of the weekend in the Restrictor class. He also won a heat race, along with Cody Freeman.

Points leader Cole Roberts placed second in the feature after starting fourth and second-starting Freeman earned his first career NOW600 Series podium finish. Kaylee Bryson advanced from sixth to fourth place and Blake Battles ended fifth after starting third.

The next NOW600 event is slated for Sept. 5 at Outlaw Motorsports Park before the season finale on Sept. 7 at West Siloam Speedway in West Siloam Springs, Okla.
