NOW600 Series Set for Doubleheader at Creek County and Outlaw Motorsports Park

Inside Line Promotions – SAPULPA, Okla. (Aug. 11, 2014) – The NOW600 Series will return to competition with a doubleheader this weekend.

Following a month off, the premier micro sprint series in Oklahoma will have races this Thursday at Creek County Speedway and on Friday at Outlaw Motorsports Park in Wainwright.

“The drivers have put on some excellent performances in our previous races at Creek County Speedway and at Outlaw Motorsports Park and I’d expect this weekend to be similar,” NOW600 Series Founder and Competition Director Terry Mattox said. “I’m looking forward to a couple of action-packed nights.”

The event at Creek County Speedway, which will feature the Non-Wing and Restrictor classes, is the final NOW600 race at the quarter-mile track this season.

Chris Cochran, Steven Shebester and Hunter Fischer each captured a feature victory during the three Non-Wing main events at the track.

However, Bailey Felkins is leading the championship standings entering the race. Felkins leads the series with five top 10s in six total races.

Matt Moore has claimed two out of the last three Restrictor features at Creek County Speedway with Alison Slaton and Cole Roberts, who leads the championship standings, also picking up a win.

The A-Class will also compete with the Non-Wing and Restrictor classes on Friday at Outlaw Motorsports Park.

Grady Chandler and Shebester have split winning the two previous A-Class features at the track this season. Felkins also leads the championship standings in the class thanks to four top 10s in six races.

Chandler and Shebester have also split the two previous Non-Wing main events with Roberts and Blake Battles each claiming a Restrictor feature triumph.
