GLENDALE, Ariz. (February 14, 2026) - KJ Snow, Austin Torgerson, Tyce Domingos, and Bryton Buoy struck feature wins on Friday night of the Dan Steffey Western States Championship at Adobe Mountain Speedway.
A fielding of 102 entries were on hand featuring 48-NOW600 A-Class Winged Micros, 21-NOW600 Outlaw Winged Micros, 21-NOW600 Restricted Micros, and 12-NOW600 Junior Sprints.
A-CLASS MICROS: KJ SNOW PREVAILS AFTER HARD-FOUGHT 20 LAPS
KJ Snow capped off a strong night with a victory in the 20-lap A-Class A-Feature, charging from the fourth starting spot to take command and fend off a determined group of frontrunners. Quinn Thurein secured second after a consistent performance throughout the program, while Logan Heath stormed forward from ninth to complete the podium in third.
Preston Norbury and Ceil Howe rounded out the top five after both drivers showed speed early in the evening through qualifying and heat races.
The A-Feature saw several contenders retire early, including JW Henderson, Josh Castro, Drake Edwards, and Austin Torgerson.
B-Feature victories went to Keaton Martella and Brycen Roush, who both advanced into the A-Main and used their momentum to climb into the top-15 finishers.
RESTRICTED MICROS: TYCE DOMINGOS DOMINATES WITH A-FEATURE WIN
The Restricted division delivered tight battles throughout the 20-lap A-Feature, but it was Tyce Domingos who prevailed from the fourth starting position to secure the win. Allison Gauthier finished second after a strong run that began with a heat race win earlier in the night. Mackcen Roush charged to third to complete the podium.
Brooks Buoy and Micah Porter each posted impressive drives, advancing from deep in the field to finish fourth and fifth respectively.
Heat race victories were collected by Gauthier, Jayden Ferneau, and Domingos, with Domingos also setting the pace in Hot Laps.
OUTLAW MICROS: TORGERSON TAKES CONTROL IN 30-LAP THRILLER
In one of the most competitive races of the night, Austin Torgerson delivered a statement victory in the 30-lap Outlaw A-Feature, charging from the outside of the front row to claim the win. KJ Snow followed closely in second after showing speed throughout qualifying and heat competition. TJ Smith worked his way from eighth to third in a strong upward drive.
Stefan Sidur and Corbin Rueschenberg filled out the top five after both drivers captured heat race wins earlier in the program.
The race saw its share of attrition, including contenders Josh Castro, Broedy Graham, Stan Yockey, and Michael Dayney, who were unable to finish.
JUNIOR SPRINTS: BRYTON BUOY STRIKES FOR THE WIN
The future stars of micro racing put on a competitive showing in the Junior Sprints division. Bryton Buoy powered from the second starting position to secure the A-Feature victory. Polesitter Easton Cambensy finished second, followed by Huxcen Roush in third.
Luke Spring and Marlee Ferneau completed the top five in a well-driven field of young talent.
Heat wins were claimed by Cambensy and Buoy, while Buoy also topped the Hot Laps charts to begin what became a complete sweep of the night.
