Friesen Pockets $1,000! Scott, Jenkins, Redman, Cooper, Brown, and Cobb Claim Feature Wins at I-44 Speedway!
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (May 2, 2026) - Blake Scott, Jadyn Friesen, Clayton Jenkins, Elijah Redman, Mitchell Cooper, Brodan Brown, and Cayden Cobb capture feature wins on Saturday at I-44 Speedway.
A field of 89 entries made the call featuring 18-Victory Motorsports Non-Wing, 22-Mr Electric A-Class, 7-Wright Water Restricted, 8-Tulsa Shootout Junior Sprints, 10-B&R Services Turf Tire, 10-JAM Powersports 600cc Mods, and 9-Industrial Machine Co. USRA Tuners.
In Junior Sprints, Elijah Redman put together a perfect night, charging from sixth to win his heat before leading all 15 laps of the A-Feature from the pole. DJ Hazell and Paisley Slightom completed the podium, while Tazen Brunson and Adeline Hazel rounded out the top five despite multiple attrition issues throughout the field.
The Non-Wing Micros division saw Blake Scott claim the A-Feature victory with a strong run from the second starting spot. Jadyn Friesen and Camden Kroening joined him on the podium, with Mason Spohn and Garyn Howard completing the top five. Heat race wins went to Scott, Joseph Johnson, and Howard, each showcasing speed early in the night before Scott sealed the deal in the 25-lap main event.
In Restricted Micros, Clayton Jenkins led from the front to secure both the heat race and A-Feature wins in a clean sweep. Greyson Cowan and Maxwell Norick followed closely behind, with Jameson Smith and Jaxen Smith completing the top five in the feature.
The 600cc Modifieds division featured a dominant performance by Brodan Brown, who picked up the heat race win and backed it up with a commanding A-Feature victory. Bobby Chapa charged forward to finish second, while Zachary Pendleton, Kyle Knight, and Steven Beard rounded out the top five. Pendleton also captured a heat race win earlier in the evening.
In the highly competitive A-Class Micros, Jadyn Friesen doubled up on the night, winning his heat and capturing the 25-lap A-Feature from the pole. Mason Daugherty and Blake Scott joined him on the podium, with Dillon Berglan and Garyn Howard completing the top five. Additional heat race winners included Trevor McIntire and Howard, setting the stage for a stacked feature field.
The Turf Tire Micros division saw Mitchell Cooper take control early, winning his heat and driving to victory in the A-Feature. David Jacobs and Kyle Hassett followed in second and third, while Tony Huddleston and Ted Mofle completed the top five. Huddleston also picked up a heat race win.
Rounding out the night, the USRA Tuners division delivered a survival-style feature with Cayden Cobb emerging victorious after starting third. Robert Horne and Bryson Brinlee finished second and third, respectively. Heat race wins went to Jed Raines and Corey Jackson, but attrition in the feature reshuffled the finishing order significantly.
