Derrick Black Best NOW600 Four Corners Region Opener at Sandia Speedway!
ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (March 31, 2025) - Derrick Black bested the field of NOW600 Four Corners Region competitors on Saturday night during the 2025 season opener at Sandia Speedway.
A fielding of 10 NOW600 Non-Wing Micros were in attendance featuring two heat races and the feature event.
From the fourth starting spot, Derrick Black ran to victory over Tyler Grier. Marren Black was third at the line with Raquel Rael in fourth. The top five rounded out with Calvin Journey.
Derek Sturgeon was sixth, Khloe Tenski claimed the seventh spot with Bob Harrington in eighth. Jeff Brumfield, Jr. was ninth and Jeff Brumfield III made up the top ten.
Tyler Grier and Raquel Rael each claimed heat race victories.
The Four Corners Region of the National Open Wheel 600 Series returns to action on April 11-12 at Legacy Speedway in Grants, NM.
