Wet Weather Cancels NOW600 Championship Weekend at Gulf Coast Speedway
DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (November 7, 2023) - The 2023 season for the Dirt2Media National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi Plains Building Division has come to a close a weekend early.
A washout forecast for Alvin, Texas has forced both Gulf Coast Speedway and NOW600 officials to pull the plug on the weekend.
"We wanted to give teams a early heads up before they get on the road and waste money on fuel and travel." stated NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox. "We appreciate Gulf Coast Speedway for making the call early thinking about our travelers."
The 2023 NOW600 National Championship has come to a close and we would like to congratulate the following drivers.
Ryder McCutcheon - Stock Non-Wing
Brant Woods - Winged A-Class
Cale Lagroon - Restricted 'A' Class
The 2023 NOW600 National banquet is set for Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The 2024 season will kick off on February 16-17 at Grayson County Speedway in Bells, Texas.
