KKM Giveback Classic On Deck for NOW600 Non-Wing Restricted on October 19-21
DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (October 9, 2023) - The KKM Giveback Classic on the horizon for the Dirt2Media National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi Plains Building Division.
Slated for three nights of action on October 19-21, the wings will come off for the first time with the Restricted class.
Wednesday night will be open practice for teams to test things out followed by two qualifying nights and the Saturday finale.
This event will NOT be a points paying event for NOW600 National points.
Prelim Nights: Random pill draw to determine each qualifying group. MAX of 10 cars. Top 4 in each group will be inverted for the Heat Races. Top 14 in combined passing and qualifying points will lock into the 25-lap preliminary nights feature. The remainder of the field will fall into a 12-lap B-Main.
A-Feature Points: 100, 97, 94, 91, 88, 85, 82, 79, 76, 73, 70, 68, 66, 64, 62, 60, 58, 56, 54, 52.
B-Main Points: Transfers: 0 everyone else 40.
Heat Points: 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11.
Qualifying Points: 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11.
The top 6 in overall points will lock into Saturday's 40-lap finale. Everyone else will fall into a LCQ on Saturday lined up by event points.
