Stelzig Sweeps NOW600 Desert Region Event at Fairgrounds Speedway on Friday Night

CORTEZ, Colo. (Sept. 28, 2020) - Caleb Stelzig swept both Winged A-Class and Stock Non-Wing feature events on Friday night at Fairgrounds Speedway with the NOW600 Hi Plains Building Division Desert Region.

9 Stock Non-Wing and 7 Winged A-Class drivers signed in for competition at the Colorado oval.

STOCK NON-WING >> Caleb Stelzig ran from the pole of the Stock Non-Wing feature event to pick up the victory. Joshua Huish from fourth crossed in the second spot with Cole Esgar making up the podium. Fourth went to Kaylee Esgar with Brianna Rhoades completing the top five.

Paul Miller, Alex Karpowicz took the seventh spot. Eighth went to Bradley Huish with Mylee Rhames rounding out the field.

Stelzig won the lone heat race.

WINGED A-CLASS >> From the third starting spot in the Winged A-Class main event, Caleb Stelzig was able to pick up the feature event win. Second went to Waylon Hale with Bradley Huish finishing in third. Joshua Huish took the fourth spot with Kaylee Esgar making up the top five.

Glenn Holmes and Cole Esgar rounded out the field.

Bradley Huish won the lone heat race.
