NOW600 Non-Wing National Championship Resumes Sunday and Tuesday

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (July 15, 2020) - After a month hiatus, the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by the Hi Plains Building Division Non-Wing National Championship series resumes racing this Sunday and Tuesday night.

Joining the final two legs of the USAC National Midgets "Mid-America Midget Week" the NOW600 Non-Wing Micros will head to Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas on Sunday night and Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Oklahoma on Tuesday night.

Sunday's trip to Caney Valley Speedway will be the series second appearance to the 1/4 mile located on the Kansas / Oklahoma border. In the last trip to Caney, Hank Davis topped the 37 car field during the opening night of Sooner 600 Week.

On Tuesday the series will make its fourth trip to Meeker, Oklahoma's Red Dirt Raceway. In the past three outings there have been three different winners in Stock Non-Wing competition. Kenton Brewer and Harley Hollan split Spring Nationals victories in March while Frank Flud topped the Speedweek appearance.

Frank Flud currently leads the Stock Non-Wing National Championship with a 26 point lead over Bradley Fezard. Ryan Timms currently sits in the third spot with Timothy Watson III in fourth and Kenton Brewer the top five.

Kyle Thompson sits sixth, Johnny Boland is currently seventh. Colby Sokol is eighth with Harley Hollan and Bryant Wiedeman the top ten.

Both Sunday and Tuesday nights racing gets underway at 7:30pm with Hot Laps slated for 6:30pm.

NOW600 Drivers Meeting both nights will be at 5:45pm. Pill Draw will be open from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.

UP NEXT>> Sunday, July 19 at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, KS and Tuesday, July 21 at Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, OK featuring the Stock Non-Wing National Championship.
