Elkins and Cook Takes NOW600 Ark-La-Tex Wins AT 105 Speedway

Bryan Hulbert - CLEVELAND, Texas (July 4, 2020) Taking on 105 Speedway this past Independence Day, the NOW600 Ark-La-Tex Region saw Stock Non-Wing and Restricted taking on the Texas oval with Maverick Elkins and Kamirin Cook earning victories.

Besting a field of 28, Elkins made it to the front from the third starting spot. His first NOW600 triumph of the season, the Alvin, Texas shoe was chased to the line by Chelby Hinton with Colton Corbin making up the podium. Raleigh Shepherd tore through the field from 17th to finish fourth with Glenn Rector fifth after starting ninth.

Sean Wilkins crossed sixth with Cody Kokes, Dan Tucker, Stephen Yates, and Isaiah Garcia making up the top ten.

Taking the win with Restricted, Kamirin Cook was able to pop to the top of the lineup after starting fourth. Kaden Trotter fell back one spot to hold on to second with Rylie Yates in third. Kinsley Cook and Braydon Spurlock made up the top five while Andrew Clark and Ryder Wells completed the field.

The NOW600 Ark-La-Tex Region is set to hit the track again on Friday, July 17 at Showtime Speedway (Many, La.) and Saturday, July 18 at Thunder Valley Speedway (Glenmora, La.)
