Buddy Mullens Best NOW600 Regional Showdown at Airport Raceway

GARDEN CITY, Kan. (July 4, 2020) - Buddy Mullens bested the opening night of the NOW600 Regional Showdown at Airport Raceway in Garden City which seen the Hi Plains Building Division Desert, Mile High and Weekly Racing series in action.

29 Winged A-Class Micro Sprints were in attendance which seen four 8 lap heats, one 12 lap B-Main and a 20 lap feature event.

From the outside of the front row, Buddy Mullens went on to pick up the win. Cole Esgar from fourth finished in the second spot with Mal Mullens crossing in third. Ava Gropp was fourth after starting eighth with Jayden Crook making up the top five.

From 11th, Jack Hall finished in sixth. Seventh went to Conner Atkinson who started 17th on the grid. Kaylee Esgar took the eighth spot with Marcedies Vogts ninth and Rich Koop the top ten.

Tanner Johnson, Buddy Mullens, Mal Mullens and Cole Esgar each won a heat race. Conner Atkinson won the B-Main event.

The second night of the NOW600 Regional Showdown continues tonight (July 4, 2020) at Airport Raceway in Garden City, Kansas.
