Wilson and Woods Grab NOW600 TOWR Wins At RPM Speedway

Bryan Hulbert – CRANDALL, Texas (June 26, 2020) The season’s second appearance at RPM Speedway for the NOW600 Milestone Texas Open Wheel Racing Series, the night’s card included Winged A-Class as well as Restricted A-Class with Braxston Wilson and Brant Woods securing victories.

Topping Winged A-Class for the first time this season, Braxston Wilson did so from the top side of the front row while Chelby Hinton came from fifth to second, and Chase Brewer hustled to the final podium step after starting ninth. Jeffrey Abbey and Evie Dean made up the top five.

Wilson’s win has also given him a single point advantage at the top of the championship standings.

Also a first win on the 2020 run of events, Brant Woods’ triumph in Restricted A-Class was done from the pole with Thomas Hall, Jr. making up a pair of spots to second. Caiden Mitchell third was trailed by Caden McCreary from eighth and Jacob Ewing.

The win by Woods moved him within five points of the point’s lead, which is currently held by Jacob Ewing.

The next outing for NOW600 Milestone Texas Open Wheel Racing Series is at Grayson County Speedway. Gates open at 4:00 P.M. with racing at 8:00 P.M. (CT).
