Huish And Deskins Top NOW600 Desert Region

Bryan Hulbert – CORTEZ, Colo. (June 19, 2020) The first of a two-night affair at Fairgrounds Speedway in Cortez, Colo. action Friday night with the NOW600 Desert Region was topped by Shon Deskins in Stock Non-Wing competition while Bradley Huish took the win in Winged A-Class.

Deskins’ first win of the season in NOW600 Desert Region Non-Wing competition, the wily veteran was chased to the line by Caleb Stelzig with Cody Batten, Robert Turner, and Taryn Stelzig making the top five.

Dustin Cormany, Bradley Huish, Joshua Huish, Mason Keefer, and Drake Edwards made up the top ten.

From a seventh-place showing in Stock Non-Wing for Bradley Huish, the Farmington, N.M. driver went onto victory in Winged A-Class. Skylar Rhoades grabbed second with Joshua Huish took runner-up honors with Joshua Huish third. Drake Edwards made up four positions to fourth with Cody Batten following from ninth to fifth.

Mason Keefer, Caleb Stelzig, Larry Kesterson, Dustin Company, and Robert Turner completed the top ten.

The NOW600 Desert Region returns to action on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Fairground Speedway.
