KC Raceway Completes Lucas Oil NOW600 National Slate
DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (January 10, 2020) - The slate is officially set for the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by the Hi Plains Building Division as KC Raceway in Independence, Missouri has confirmed their event date.
Being reconfigured from a go-kart only track to a 1/5 mile bullring during the course of the off season, the KC Raceway will host their first ever Micro Sprint event on Friday-Saturday, April 10 and 11 sanctioned under the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series.
“We’ve been in discussion with KC Raceway since we first learned about their reconfiguration project.” said NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox. “Last night we got the word that they were in and was ready to release it.”
This will be the second time the National Micros will venture into the Show-Me State as the last previous appearance was in August of 2016 at the Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex in Sweet Springs, Missouri.
Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class divisions will all be in action both nights while the track continues to discuss other classes to join.
More information on the Lucas Oil NOW600 event at KC Raceway will be posted in the weeks to come as they continue to get the track ready for racing.
