Colby Sokol Prevails with NOW600 Tel-Star Mile High Region at El Paso County
CALHAN, Colo. (July 14, 2019) - Colby Sokol prevailed with the NOW600 Tel-Star Technologies Mile High Region on Saturday night at El Paso County Raceway.
A series high 18 cars checked for competition with the Winged A-Class division.
The win was Sokol’s first in A-Class competition.
Colby started fourth on the grid and would have to work his way up to capture the win. Jared McIntyre crossed in the runner up spot with Adam Fox taking the third spot. Austin Ullstrom took the fourth spot with Cassidy Hinds rounding out the top five.
Brianna Rhoades ended sixth with Cameron Willhite seventh. Jennifer Baker was eighth with Justis Sokol ninth and Clayton Griffith tenth.
McIntyre, Willhite and Colby Sokol were heat race winners.
Next up for the Mile High Region of the National Open Wheel 600 Series will be Non-Wing at El Paso County Raceway on Saturday, July 27.
