Skylar Rhoades Sweeps NOW600 Tel-Star Desert and Mile High Showdown in Cortez
CORTEZ, Colo. (July 7, 2019) - Skylar Rhoades swept the weekend in Cortez, Colorado at Fairgrounds Speedway with the NOW600 Tel-Star Technologies Desert and Mile High Regions.
The showdown brought 11 entries on Friday night and 9 entries on Saturday with $500 that went to the winner.
Pocketing the $500 showdown, Skylar Rhoades rolled from the fourth spot in Saturday's feature event. Joey Klemish finished in the second spot with Bradley Huish crossing in third. Joshua Huish was fourth and Hunter Rhoades finished in fifth.
On Friday night Rhoades started fifth on the grid to pick up the win. Hunter Rhoades crossed in second. Bradley Huish was third at the line. Joshua Huish took the fourth spot and Caleb Stelzig rounded out the top five.
The NOW600 Desert Region returns to action on Saturday, July 13 at Sandia Speedway while the NOW600 Mile High Region heads to El Paso County Raceway.
