NOW600 Desert and Mile High Regions Face Off in Cortez this Weekend
DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (July 3, 2019) - Both the NOW600 Tel-Star Technologies Desert and Mile High Region will face off for big bucks and bragging rights this Friday night at Fairgrounds Speedway in Cortez, Colorado.
The third and fourth trip to the Fairgrounds Speedway for the Desert Region and first for the Mile High Region will see Non-Wing action on Friday night and Winged competition on Saturday.
Friday night will pay $200 to win and $30 to start. Saturday night the action boost to $500 to win and $50 to start the feature event.
In the previous two appearances, Bradley Huish and Joshua Huish have each claimed victory in the feature events.
This weekend will be a points event for the Desert Region.
Joshua Huish currently leads the point standings for the NOW600 Desert Region. Bradley Huish sits in the second spot three points back. Caleb Stelzig is third with Eric Smith fourth and Randy Turner the top five.
It will be a non-points event for the Mile High Region.
Racing will get underway at 7pm both nights.
