Setser Wins the Rumble while Peters, Rose, McCarter, Leek and Zimmerman Pick Up NOW600 Weekly Wins at Circus City Speedway

PERU, Indiana (June 23, 2019) - Gunnar Setser picked up the Restrictor Class Rumble on Saturday while Andrew Peters, Brandon Rose, Fred McCarter, Parker Leek and Jacob Zimmerman each picked up NOW600 Tel-Star Technologies Weekly Racing wins on Saturday night at Circus City Speedway.

83 entries signed in for action atop the Circus City Speedway. Of those 83 there were 14 Winged Outlaws, 32 Non-Wing Outlaws, 15 Senior Non-Wing, 7 Winged A-Class, 10 Restricted 'A' Class and 5 Junior Sprints.

The Restricted 'A' Class was Saturday's featured class paying $600 to win the feature event. Gunnar Setser scored the victory over second place Mason Hannagan. Easton Zent finished in the third spot with Ryan Roak in fourth. The top five rounded out with Cale Coons.

Aiden Williamson, Aaliyah Ohab, Caleb Sutherland, Colin Baldwin and Ryan Debose brought up the top ten.

Zent and Coons picked up the heat race victories.

In Winged Outlaw competition, Andrew Peters picked up the victory from the fourteenth starting spot. Randy Shilling crossed in the second spot with Corbin Gurley coming home in third. Fourth went to Nathan Franklin with Jake Erickson crossing in fifth.

Trey McGranahan, Mackenzie Yeo-Brown, Kaden Blount, Jacob Bigger and Darin Naida were the top ten.

McGranahan and Shilling picked up heat race wins.

A stout 32 Non-Wing Outlaws checked in for competition with Brandon Rose topping the field for the second time this season. Cole Bodine finished in the second spot with Randy Shilling rounding out the podium. Kayeleb Bolton and Jarrett Martin claiming the top five spots.

Jacob Bigger, Tyler Orr, Barbie Kimmel, Sam Kimmel and Connor Lane rounded out the top ten.

Bodine, Rose, Wes Bigger and Deaven Bolton scored the nights four heat race wins. Darin Naida won the lone B-Feature event.

Fred McCarter picked up his first Senior Non-Wing feature event win on Saturday night. Kris Knox was second with Nick Yoder in third. Jason Ohara took the fourth spot and Dennis Corcoran rounded out the top five.

Mike Mensendiek, Cory Ebersole, Bill Dubois, Joe Leek and Gina Lowe-Frederickson claimed the top ten.

Mensendiek and Yoder picked up the nights two heat race wins.

Parker Leek broke through in Winged A-Class competition on Saturday night. Halen Shafer brought home the runner up spot with Ian Malicoat in third. Tyler Orr was fourth and Clayton Maynard fifth.

Shawn Bartley and Aidan Salisbury rounded out the field.

Shafer won the lone heat race.

Jacob Zimmerman picked up win number two on Saturday in Junior Sprint action. Dylan Naida claimed the second spot. Kayla Martin rounded out the podium. Emerson Chesshir and JD Kimmel made up the top five.

Zimmerman swept the night by also winning the lone heat race event.

Circus City Speedway returns to racing on Monday, June 24 during the Miami County Fair with "Micros on the Midway" featuring Junior Sprints, Restricted and A-Class racing Wingless. Senior Non-Wing, Non-Wing Outlaw and Winged Outlaw will also be racing.
