NOW600 Launches Ark-La-Tex Region

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (June 2, 2019) - Continuing the mission to grow and expand Micro Sprint racing across the country, officials with the National Open Wheel 600 Series are please to announce the formation of the Ark-La-Tex Region.

Formerly known as the Louisiana 600’s, Joey Getz, Kendyl Guillot and Matt Ebarb have taken over the reigns and will come under the NOW600 sanctioning umbrella effective immediately.

“We are very pleased to continue the expansion of the NOW600 footprint across the United States.” Commented NOW600 Series Founder and Director, Terry Mattox. “Joey, Kendyl, Matt and myself have been in discussion over the past week discussing what we can do to really help build Micro Sprint racing around Louisiana and with both of us teaming together we think we can put a program together that works for everyone.”

Now known as the NOW600 Tel-Star Technologies Ark-La-Tex Region will bring the NOW600 Regional Tour count to seven.

A full lineup of dates is still on the docket with the next event scheduled for Friday, June 14 at Showtime Speedway in Many, Louisiana.

For the remainder of 2019 there are no rule changes from what the season started with.

Drivers wishing to become NOW600 members may do so. It does give drivers a secondary insurance policy through Reel Media that is good at any NOW600 sanctioned event across the country.
