Culp, Dennis, Knox, Setser and Zimmerman Capitalize at Circus City Speedway

PERU, Ind. (May 19, 2019) - Blane Culp, Ron Dennis, Kris Knox, Gunnar Setser and Jacob Zimmerman each capitalized during NOW600 Tel-Star Technologies Weekly Racing at Circus City Speedway on Saturday night.

86 entries signed in for competition on "Non-Wing World Championship Tune Up Night."

11 Winged Outlaws signed in for action and it was Blane Culp taking the win over Kole Kirkman. Nathan Franklin crossed in third with Jason Shields in fourth. The top five rounded out with Adam Wilsdon

Jake Erickson, Shawn Bartley, Silas Chapman, Austin Helm and Steve Shockney, Jr. rounded out the top ten.

Franklin and Culp were heat winners.

Ron Dennis took the Non-Wing Outlaw victory on Saturday topping the 42 car field. Davon Stealy crossed in the runner up spot. Kole Kirkman claimed the third spot with Kayeleb Bolton coming home fourth and Jessee Holt in fifth.

Zeke Lewis, Sam Kimmel, Randy Shilling, Craig Ronk and Brian Busz brought up the top ten.

Dawson Stealy, Zeke Lewis, Ron Dennis, Sam Kimmel and Brian Busz were the nights five heat race winners with Creed Kemenah and Jordan Calendine picking up the two B-Feature events.

In Senior Non-Wing action, Kris Knox was victorious over Ron Dennis. Nick Yoder finished in the third spot with Scott Anderson in fourth and Rob Johnson in the fifth spot.

The rest of the top ten were Jason Ohara, Tom Westergaard, Nevil Algie, Bruce Clay and Brian Myers.

Knox and Yoder claimed the two heat races on the night.

Blane Culp picked up another clean sweep on Saturday in the Winged A-Class division. Parker Leek was the runner up with Halen Shafer rounding out the podium. Fourth went to Beau Brandon and Deaven Bolton the top five.

Shawn Bartley, Clayton Maynard, Creed Kemenah, Hudson Snyder and Austin Helm the field.

Culp and Shafer were the two heat race victors.

The Restricted 'A' Class division was swept by Gunnar Setser, Aiden Williamson came home in second with Hayden McKnight in third. Colin Baldwin rounded out the field.

Setser was the lone heat winner.

Jacob Zimmerman was the clean sweeper in the Junior Sprint division. Emerson Chesshir finished in the runner up spot with Oliver Osborn in third and Easton Hunter in fourth.

Zimmerman was the lone heat victor.

Action at Circus City Speedway returns this Wednesday-Saturday, May 22-25 with the running of the Performance Electronics Non-Wing World Championship which pays $10,000 to win the Non-Wing Outlaw class.

Regular NOW600 Weekly Racing continues on Saturday, June 1.
