Doug McIntosh Drives to Victory with NOW600 Tel-Star Mountain West Region at Jackpine Gypsies

STURGIS, S.D. (May 12, 2019) - Doug McIntosh picked up where he left off in 2018 claiming the opening night win with the Tel-Star Technologies NOW600 Mountain West Region at Jackpine Gypsies Short Track on Saturday night.

A threat of weather including rain and hail in the morning kept a few away, but the action on the track was bad fast.

McIntosh with an exciting last lap, last corner pass won over Tom Peterson. Wren Jacobs finished on the final podium spot after leading the first 9 laps of the A-Main event. Nikko Bailes and Ron Fulk rounded out the top five with Ryan Fulk rounding out the field.

Peterson was the nights heat winner.

Next up for the NOW600 Tel-Star Mountain West Region will be Saturday, May 18 at Jackpine Gypsies Short Track in Sturgis, South Dakota.
