Hershey and Bailes Stand on Top During NOW600 Mountain West Opener at Newcastle
NEWCASTLE, Wyom. (May 28, 2018) - The third time was the charm for the NOW600 Mountain West Region presented by Hoosier Racing Tire as the series was able to kick off the inaugural season on Saturday night at Newcastle Speedway in Newcastle, Wyoming.
Logan Hershey claimed the first Winged A-Class Mountain West victory while Nikko Bailes scored the Restricted 'A' Class division.
Hershey scored the Winged A-Class victory. Martin Hansen crossed in second. Doug McIntosh held the final spot of the podium. Brad Olson finished fourth. Wren Jacobs fifth.
In Restricted 'A' Class competition it was all Nikko Bailes with Tallen Hansen crossing in second.
The NOW600 Mountain West Region will return to action on Saturday, June 2 at Jackpine Gypsise Short Track in Sturgis, South Dakota.
