POWRi West, POWRi RMMRA and NOW600 Series Tabbed for 3rd annual Midget Round Up

Inside Line Promotions – OWASSO, Okla. (May 9, 2018) – Some of the Midwest’s rising stars will invade Airport Raceway later this month during the 3rd annual Midget Round Up.

The TBJ Promotions event, which is held May 26-27 at the bullring in Garden City, Kan., will showcase two nights of POWRi Lucas Oil West Midget Series and POWRi Lucas Oil RMMRA Series midgets along with the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass stock non-wing and winged ‘A’ class micro sprints.

“We’re excited to welcome back the POWRi West and POWRi RMMRA Series along with welcoming the NOW600 Series to the event,” TBJ Promotions Founder Tony Bruce Jr. said. “This event had a great foundation in 2016 and took a huge leap forward last year. We’re aiming to continue that growth to make this a marquee event that teams and fans circle on the calendar.”

The midget car count nearly doubled from the first-ever event, which welcomed a little more than 20 competitors to last year when 40 midgets competed. Daniel Robinson and Steven Shebester were the winners during the inaugural event in 2016 before Matt Moore and Kory Schudy claimed triumphs last year.

This is the first year of involvement for the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series, which pays $1,000 to win the stock non-wing and winged ‘A’ class A Mains during the event finale.

The front gates are scheduled to open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m. each night.

There is limited reserved spectator parking at the track available. To purchase a spot, call 620-287-3695.

TBJ Promotions would like to thank the Finney County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Burtis Motor Company, Mid-America Millwright, The Tunnel Car Wash, Johnson Septic Tank Services, Jax Sports Grille, Driven Midwest and Maupin’s Truck Service for their continued support of the event.
