National Open Wheel 600 Series 2018 Lineup Soars Past 130

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (February 23, 2018) - Since its inception in 2013, the largest event count for the National Open Wheel 600 Series was 44 which took place during the 2017 season.

That number has been tripled in 2018 as 132 nights of NOW600 competition is set to take place in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Kansas and Pennsylvania between the National Series and the five Regional Series that make up the Nation's Largest Micro Sprint Sanctioning Body.

Making up the bulk of 132 sanctioned events is the North Texas Region of the NOW600 Series with 48 dates lining up the 2018 season.

The Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series currently has 28 events on the docket.

A 23 event schedule is on tap for the NOW600 Northeast Region. NOW600 Mile High and Desert each has 12 events on the lineup with the NOW600 Mountain West Region currently looking at 18 races for the 2018 season.

The action kicks off for the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series on Saturday-Sunday, March 3-4 at Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Oklahoma.

NOW600 North Texas will begin their season on Saturday, March 10 at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas.

Saturday, March 23 the NOW600 Northeast Region will open up at Path Valley Speedway Park in Spring Run, Pennsylvania.

NOW600 Mountain West will take on their first event on Saturday, May 12 at the Jackpine Gypsies Short Track in Sturgis, South Dakota.

Mile High Micro Sprints will co-sanction their opening weekend with the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series on May 26-27 at Airport Raceway in Garden City, Kansas.

Finally, the NOW600 Desert Region will kick off their tour on Saturday, June 9 at Kart Kayon Speedway in Aztec, New Mexico.
