Sooner 600 Week Returns on June 20-23, 2018 with the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (February 22, 2018) - The second edition of Sooner 600 Week featuring the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass will return to the state of Oklahoma on June 20-23, 2018.

The 2018 edition of Sooner 600 Week will feature four nights of competition in Kansas and Oklahoma with the Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and Restricted 'A' Class divisions of the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series in the spotlight.

Things will kick off on the Kansas/Oklahoma border on Wednesday, June 20 at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan.. The following night the touring titans will visit the Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla. on Thursday, June 21. Red Dirt Raceway will once again host the Friday night affair on June 22. New to Sooner 600 Week competition will be Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Okla. hosting the final leg of the "Week of Speed." on Saturday, June 23.

Event payouts will follow standard NOW600 National Series single nigh purse. $500 to win and $50 to start Stock Non-Wing, $500 to win and $50 to start Winged A-Class. $300 to win and $40 to start Restricted 'A' Class. Each non-qualifier will be paid a minimum of what they paid for their pit pass.

The Sooner 600 Week is open to all teams as there will not be a cap on entries.

Each night will follow normal NOW600 race procedures. Pill draw for heat races, Top 14 in passing points will transfer into the Main, with everyone else falling into a Semi Main. 20 to 21-cars will start each Main Event. High point guy following the Heats will draw for the Main Event invert at the NOW600 competition trailer.

Pill Draw: will take open one hour prior to Drivers Meeting time and will close at the start of the Drivers Meeting.

Entry fees for each night will consist of Pit Passes per class, and $10-$15 Pill Draw per class depending on if you are a NOW600 Member.

RACECeivers are MANDATORY at ALL NOW600 and Sooner 600 Week events. If you do not have one you can rent them for $10 a night and your pay will be held until returned.
