Driven Midwest NOW600 Rules and National Purse Structures Announced for 2018

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (November 1, 2017) – Officials with the Driven Midwest National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass have released the rulebook and the National Series purse structures for the upcoming 2018 season.

“Our season always begin in early February, so it is best that we get everything out early so teams can start preparing.” commented NOW600 Series Founder, Terry Mattox. “We are planning for a stellar year in 2018 with lots of exciting plans in store.”

Rules for the 2018 season will remain the same for the Stock Non-Wing and Winged A-Class divisions. However, rules for the Restricted ‘A’ Class will see a slight change.

Drivers competing in the Restricted ‘A’ Class will be REQUIRED to run the Kings Racing Products restrictor plate.

Hoosier Racing Tires will be mandatory on all four corners in all classes.

New in 2018 will be the addition of one provisional into the A-Main. One driver that is a NOW600 member in good standing that did not make the feature race from Heats or Semi's that is at 90% attendance will be granted a paying spot in the Main, but will only receive Semi points.

National Series pill draw will move to before the drivers meeting. Pill draw will open one (1) hour before scheduled drivers meeting time and will close at the start of the meeting. NOW600 member drivers will pay $10 per class draw, non-members will be $15 per class draw.

2018 will also feature an increase purse structure for the three premier sanctioned divisions. Stock Non-Wing and Winged A-Class will both run for $500 to win and $50 to start each night while the Restricted ‘A’ Class will compete for $300 to win and $40 to start.

Purse, procedures and schedule for the NOW600 North Texas Region will be released along with their schedule in January.
