Johnny B Scores First Driven Midwest NOW600 North Texas Victory at RPM

CRANDALL, Texas (Aug. 7, 2017) - Johnny B ended Marcus Thomas' winning streak on Friday night by besting the field of 24 competitors to score his first NOW600 victory with the Driven Midwest NOW600 North Texas Region at RPM Speedway.

Johnny B who started from the 19th starting spot maneuvered through the field to claim the victory. Marcus Thomas who has been on a roll here late with the North Texas Region crossed in the second spot. Jason Tyer took the final step of the podium by finishing in third. Fourth went to Kobe Simpson who started in the 18th spot with Colton Corbin rounding out the top five.

Holden Anderson took sixth, Casey Burkham finished in seventh. Colby Stubblefield finished in eighth with Joey Starnes ninth and Cody Price tenth.

Tyer, Trevor Goad, and Simpson claimed the three heat races that were contested on Friday night.

Next Up for the Driven Midwest NOW600 North Texas Region will be Friday, August 11 at the RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas for the Winged A-Class.
