Davidson and Laplante Record Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Wins During Series Debut at 281 Speedway

Inside Line Promotions – STEPHENVILLE, Texas (March 25, 2017) – Dustin Davidson scored his first career Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass main event win and Ryder Laplante recorded his fourth victory of the season on Saturday evening during the series’ first-ever visit to 281 Speedway.

Davidson advanced from third to capture the Winged ‘A’ Class feature, which was upped to $500 to win. He became only the second different driver to win in the class this season after Frank Flud captured the first four races of the year.

Davidson was followed by Chase Randall with Kobe Simpson third, Colton Corbin fourth and Hunter Gengo fifth.

Daison Pursley and Randall each claimed a heat race triumph.

Laplante powered from fifth to second place in a Restricted ‘A’ Class heat race to lock into the feature redraw, which worked in his favor as he lined up on the pole for the main event. He took advantage to garner his fourth win in the last five races with the series. Laplante’s four wins ties him atop the series’ career wins list.

Pursley placed second with Jarret Hjorth, Dylan Pendergrass and Randall rounding out the top five, respectively.

Pursley and Randall also won the Restricted ‘A’ Class heat races.

The Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass returns to action on April 15 at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan., where all three premier classes will compete.
