Flud Adds Two More Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Wins and Randall Picks Up First-Career Series Victory During Round 2 of Creek County Clash

Inside Line Promotions – SAPULPA, Okla. (March 10, 2017) – Frank Flud produced another stout performance to capture a pair of Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass main event wins and Chase Randall maneuvered to his first career series triumph on Friday during the second round of the inaugural Creek County Clash hosted by Creek County Speedway.

Flud advanced from the second row to earn his fourth Stock Non-Wing main event win of the season and his fourth Winged ‘A’ Class triumph of the year while Randall capitalized on starting on the outside of the front row in the Restricted ‘A’ Class feature to garner the victory.

Flud became the first driver to record double-digit victories in any Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series class. He now has 10 feature victories in the Stock Non-Wing division.

Shawn Wicker placed second in the feature with Jason McDougal third, Jase Randolph fourth and 10th-starting KJ Snow fifth.

Flud and Wicker picked up heat race wins.

Flud bested a total of 34 entries to capture his eighth career Winged ‘A’ Class feature victory. Kevin Bayer claimed the runner-up position with Cannon McIntosh advancing from ninth to third place. Wicker maneuvered from 10th to fourth and Holley Hollan garnered a fifth-place finish.

Brock Berreth, Bayer, McDougal and Hollan were the heat race winners. Randolph powered from sixth to win the first B Main and Devin Gerrior drove from eighth to win the second B Main.

Randall became the third different winner in five Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series Restricted ‘A’ Class main events this season and the 18th winner in the class overall. He was chased to the finish line by Kale Drake with ninth-starting Jake Nail rounding out the podium. Grady Mercer placed fourth and Conner Lee ended fifth.

Mercer, Daison Pursley and Caleb Pence each won a heat race.

The event finale is Saturday at Creek County Speedway. The gates open at 4 p.m. with the drivers meeting at 5:15 p.m., hot laps at 6:15 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for adults and free for children ages 10 and younger. Pit passes are $30.
