Kadous, Benson and Knipmeyer Score First Driven Midwest NOW600 Series Victories During Opening Night of Doubleheader at Sweet Springs

Inside Line Promotions – SWEET SPRINGS, Mo. (Aug. 5, 2016) – Three new drivers were ushered into the Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass Winner’s Circle on Friday during the opening round of a doubleheader at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex.

Dylan Kadous, Nathan Benson and Braden Knipmeyer each picked up their first career win with the series on Friday night when 68 entries between three micro sprint classes put on a show during the Driven Midwest NOW600 Series debut in Missouri.

Kadous took advantage of drawing the pole position for the Stock Non-Wing main event as he recorded the victory and locked himself into Saturday’s feature redraw, along with Chris Koch, Quinton Benson and Brian Lunsford, who finished second through fourth, respectively.

Lunsford, Chase Porter and Aryton Gennetten were the heat race winners.

Benson was also fortunate during the feature redraw as he started the Winged ‘A’ Class feature on the pole and never looked back. Tyler Rennison finished second with Dean Drake Jr. third and Jack Wagner fourth. All four drivers are locked into Saturday’s feature redraw.

Dustin March, Gennetten and Rennison each captured a heat race triumph.

Knipmeyer held off points leader Daison Pursley to claim the Restricted ‘A’ Class main event win. Aubrey Smith rounded out the podium and Trey Gropp advanced from 10th to fourth place to garner the final lock-in position to Saturday’s feature redraw.

Kale Drake, Noah Gass and Knipmeyer were victorious during heat race action.

The Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass wraps up this weekend’s doubleheader at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex on Saturday. Hot laps are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. with racing at 7:00 p.m.

Driver entry is $30 for non-club members and $20 for the second class entry.

General admission tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children. Anyone 5 and younger gets in free. Pit passes are $15.
