NOW 600 Series Returns to Action Friday at Creek County Speedway

Inside Line Promotions – SAPULPA, Okla. (July 14, 2014) – The NOW 600 Series will return to action this Friday at Creek County Speedway.

The event, which features the Non-Wing and Restrictor 600cc micro sprint classes, is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. with gates opening around 4:30 p.m.

“We have had two great events at Creek County Speedway this season and are looking forward to showcasing another night of top-notch action this Friday,” NOW 600 Competition Director and Promoter Terry Mattox said. “The Non-Wing and Restrictor races have been intense this season and I’d expect the drivers to put on a show for the fans once again.”

Chris Cochran led the final four laps of the season-opening event to claim the Non-Wing victory with Steven Shebester winning the most recent Non-Wing feature at Creek County Speedway.

Bailey Felkins currently leads the championship standings in the class, which features the top six drivers separated by less than 100 points. Kyle Keeler ranks second – only 26 points out of the lead – with Jason Collins 38 points back and Garrett Olson 45 points out of the lead.

Grady Chandler, who is 89 markers out of the top spot, is fifth in the standings and Dylan Ward sits 97 points behind Felkins.

Cole Roberts led all 15 laps of the season-opening Restrictor feature and Alison Slaton captured the win at Creek County Speedway last month.

Roberts, who has won two of the five total NOW 600 races this season, leads the championship standings by 112 points over Matt Moore and Trent Griggs.
