Junior Sprints Added to NOW600 National Series Division Lineup in 2026!
DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (November 3, 2025) - Adding to the excitement around the 2026 season, the National Open Wheel 600 Series will go from three national series classes to four with the addition of the Junior Sprint division joining the national lineup.
“NOW600 is known for getting drivers their start. They start with us before moving up to Midgets or Sprint Cars, so to give them that extra couple years with us to run Junior Sprints, then to Restricted and eventually A-Class just makes sense to grow the series.” stated NOW600 Founder, Terry Mattox. “Plus with a lot of Restricted and or A-Class drivers having siblings that are getting into juniors or racing them it helps out the parents to let both kids race instead of alternating them or staying at their local track for them to run together.”
The NOW600 Junior Sprints will compete for $200 to win nightly in 2026 along with chasing a national title and point fund which will be announced in the coming weeks.
Estimated for about 30-35 nights of competition, the Junior Sprint division will take on tracks in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Illinois.
Rules for the Junior Sprints will be posted this week, mirroring current Junior Sprint rules from Port City Raceway and Tulsa Shootout.
