Friesen Doubles Up and Zimmerman Zooms to NOW600 Jayhusker Region Wins at Clay Center!

CLAY CENTER, Kan. (June 30, 2024) - Jadyn Friesen and Sawyer Zimmerman zoomed to victory on Saturday with the NOW600 Jayhusker Region at Clay County Fairgrounds.

23-NOW600 Non-Wing, 11-NOW600 A-Class, and 6-NOW600 Restricted micros made up the field on Saturday night.

Jadyn Friesen topped the Stock Non-Wing feature event win from fourth. Hank Soares from tenth crossed in the second spot with 16th starting Dustin Dougan finishing in third. Skyler Burns from 20th was fourth and 14th starting Bo Ready rounded out the top five.

Jacob Latta, Matthew Laflin, Cale Lagroon, and Jadyn Friesen each claimed heat race wins.

Friesen doubled up on the night by winning the Winged A-Class feature event. Dawson Nunnenkamp was second at the line with Hank Soares in third. Fourth went to Donnie Burrows with Kruz Jelinek making up the top five.

Donnie Burrows and Jadyn Friesen each picked up heat wins.

Sawyer Zimmerman raced to the Restricted class win. WJ Campbell was the runner up with Blainey Woods rounding out the podium. Gavyn Bolt was fourth and Josie Imm rounded out the top five.

WJ Campbell won the lone heat race.

The Jayhusker Region of the National Open Wheel 600 Series returns to action on Saturday, July 6 at Washington Speedway in Washington, KS.
