NOW600 TO ALLOW NEW AMERICAN RACER RIGHT REAR
DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (May 9, 2024) - As the 2024 season for the Dirt2Media National Open Wheel 600 Series continues, officials have announced the new American Racer SPEC right rear to be allowed in competition.
The new SPEC American Racer right rear which is comparable to the Hoosier ASCS2 right rear will be allowed effective immediately.
The new American Racer SPEC and the Hoosier ASCS2 are the only two right rears allowed in NOW600 competition. The NOW600 tire durometer rule also remains in effect at 45 or above.
All other corners besides the right rear remain open.
All events at Port City Raceway must be on the Hoosier ASCS2. The American Racer tire will NOT be permitted at any events at Port City.
