Garcia and Lucas Claim NOW600 Ark-La-Tex Wins at Gulf Coast Speedway!

ALVIN, Texas (May 5, 2024) - Isaiah Garcia and Brannon Lucas each claimed feature event wins on Saturday with the NOW600 Ark-La-Tex Region presented by Louisiana Hydrostatics at Gulf Coast Speedway.

A field of 33 entries were on hand for the first appearance of 2024 at GCS featuring 20 Stock Non-Wing and 13 Restricted.

Isaiah Garcia garnered the NOW600 Non-Wing feature event after starting fourth on the grid. Jacob Lucas advanced seven spots to finish in the runner up spot. Aaron Barmore was third at the line with Weldon Buford and Alex Karpowicz making up the top five.

Maverick Elkins, Buddy Mullens, and Isaiah Garcia were victorious in heat race competition.

Brannon Lucas bested the field in NOW600 Restricted action. Lucas started fourth on the feature lineup and would get the job done. David Spencer was second at the line. Owin Halpain claimed the final podium spot. Beau Chapman and Dilynn Hamelman each advanced five spots to cross in fourth and fifth.

Holley Spake and Owin Halpain each won heat races.

The NOW600 Ark-La-Tex Region returns to action on Saturday, June 1 at Gulf Coast Speedway.
