Florida Micro FunFest Fires Off 2024 NOW600 National Season on Monday!

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (February 1, 2024) - Kick the tires and light the fires, the 2024 Dirt2Media National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi Plains Building Division comes to life on Monday, February 5.

Set for five nights of racing in the span of six days, Marion County Speedway in Ocala, Florida will take center stage for the Florida Micro FunFest.

Featuring the NOW600 Wild Card Series branch of the NOW600 National Series, the Non-Wing Outlaw, Winged Outlaw, Restricted and Junior Sprint divisions will compete each night, while the Sunshine State 250/450 Micros join the action on Friday and Saturday.

Sunday, February 4th

EVENT FORMAT >>

Each night Winged Outlaw, Restricted, Junior Sprints and 250/450’s will draw for heat race starting position. NOW600 passing points will be utilized to determine feature starting positions. If a B-Main is needed, the top 14 in passing points will transfer to the A-Main the reminder of the field will be placed heads up by points in the B-Main. If one B-Main is ran, the top 6 will transfer to the A-Main, if two B-Mains is ran, the top 3 from each will transfer to the A-Main.

For Non-Wing Outlaw, drivers will draw for starting positions. NOW600 passing points will be utilized. The Top 40 in passing points will go into 4-10 car qualifiers with a four-car inversion. The top 14 in combined heat race and qualifier passing points will transfer to the A-Main the reminder of the field will be placed heads up by points in the B-Main. If one B-Main is ran, the top 6 will transfer to the A-Main, if two B-Mains is ran, the top 3 from each will transfer to the A-Main.

Each nights payout will be accumulated and checks will be written on Saturday night.
