Event And Registration Info Released For The 24th annual Pete Frazier Memorial

Bryan Hulbert – SWEET SPRINGS, Mo. (July 25, 2023) With just over a month to go until the 24th annual Pete Frazier Memorial at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex, details about this year’s event have been finalized.

Happening Friday, September 1, and Saturday, September 2, the event will be preceded by practice on Thursday, August 31. A rain date is slated for Sunday, September 3 if needed. Thursday’s practice will run from 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. Friday and Saturday open at 11:00 A.M. Friday will Hot Lap at 7:00 P.M. Saturday will move that time up to 6:30 P.M. with racing to follow each night.

Thursday Practice in the grandstands is free. Pit Passes are $25.

Friday and Saturday, grandstands are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and military, $5 for youth (6-12), and free for kids 5 and under. Pit Passes are $35 on Friday, and $40 on Saturday. A three-day Pit Pass can be purchased for $85 on Thursday. Teams can buy a Pit Pass for Friday and Saturday for $65.

Early entry for the 24th annual Pete Frazier Memorial is from Thursday, July 27, through Tuesday, August 29. Early entry is $120 and includes the driver’s Pit Pass. Late entry, or entry at the track, is $140.

Junior Sprints are $80 early entry, and $100 late.

Event format will be the same as the Tulsa Shootout, with each class running Heats and Qualifiers. Top five finishers, plus the Hard Charger, in each of Friday’s preliminary A-Features will lock into their feature on Saturday night.

Co-promoted with Ward Worthy Farms (Matt and Ashleigh Ward), and Kristy McDougal, the Pete Frazier Memorial will feature Outlaw, Non-Wing Outlaw, A-Class, Stock Non-Wing, Restricted, and Junior Sprints. The show will run under the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series banner, with Tulsa Shootout Director of Operations, Matt Ward, serving as the event’s Competition Director.

The 24th annual Pete Frazier Memorial at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex will take place Friday, September 1, and Saturday, September 2. Those that pre-enter will be in the running for added prizes, including free pit passes, comped entry into the 2024 Tulsa Shootout, and free Tires, to name a few.
