Mother Nature Moves Sunday Features To Monday At Airport Raceway
Bryan Hulbert - GARDEN CITY, Kan. (July 2, 2023) While the forecast showed a nearly zero percent chance of precipitation at Airport Raceway on Sunday, Mother Nature had other plans as a severe storm swooped in during B-Features and washed out the evening.
The remainder of Sunday's program will be run on Monday before Monday's scheduled event takes place. However, teams will qualify for Monday's program before the makeup events, so the track is fresh.
Cars will be on track at 5:00 P.M. (CDT) for Hot Laps. Once lineups for Monday's Heats are set, Sunday's run of races will resume.
