NOW600 National Micros
Torgerson, Yantis, and Stevens Score NOW600 Cactus Region Wins on Night 1 of the Dan Steffey Western States Championship!
GLENDALE, Ariz. (February 18, 2023) - Austin Torgerson, Jett Yantis and Ethan Stevens each scored wins on night one of the Dan Steffey Western States Championship at Adobe Mountain Speedway.
44 Non-Wing Outlaw, 29 Winged A-Class and 17 Restricted 'A' Class Micro Sprints made the call for the opening night of the two day event featuring the NOW600 Hi Plains Building Division Cactus Region.
Austin Torgerson topped the Non-Wing Outlaw feature event. Corbin Rueschenberg crossed in the second spot with Cole Schroeder finishing third. Fourth went to Shon Deskins and Cameron La Rose made up the top five.
Jett Yantis from the outside front row scored the feature event win in the Winged A-Class division. Austin Torgerson finished in the runner up spot with KJ Snow crossing in third. Cole Schroeder was fourth with Josh Castro the top five respectivley.
Ethan Stevens from the third spot picked up the win in Restricted competition. Jace Thurein was second at the line with Connor Lundy rounding out the podium. Jaydon Barnes finished fourth with Jennifer Owens the top five.
The NOW600 Cactus Region resumes racing on Saturday with the finale of the Dan Steffey Western States Championship at Adobe Mountain Speedway.
