NOW600 Banner Flies at Circus City SpeedPlex Again in 2023!
PERU, Ind. (February 5, 2023) - The NOW600 banner will fly once again at Peru, Indiana’s Circus City SpeedPlex in 2023!
Continuing racing at the historic Miami County Fairgrounds in Peru, Indiana under new ownership for the 2023 race season. Travis Dice has acquired the ownership of the former Circus City Speedway and has re-branded the track Circus City SpeedPlex. Longtime micro sprint racer Ryan Leek has been hired as Manager/Promoter for the SpeedPlex.
The vision for the SpeedPlex is to create a family friendly environment filled with action-packed events that focus on safety, efficiency, and affordability. Race teams and fans will notice multiple improvements around the facility including several new pieces of track prep equipment which will play a key role in creating and maintaining a multi groove racing surface.
Drivers at Circus City SpeedPlex will be able to join NOW600 just like the other sanction tracks, Regional tours and National Tour for the secondary insurance policy through Sports Insurance Specialist. The same insurance policy as our sister series ASCS.
Also the SpeedPlex drivers will be able to compete against other sanction tracks to name a Weekly Racing champion.
Circus City SpeedPlex will host Non-Wing Outlaw, Winged A-Class, Stock Non-Wing, Senior Non-Wing, Restricted & Junior Sprint divisions on a weekly basis.
“We are excited to partner with Ryan Leek and the crew at Circus City to sanction their track and help promote micro sprint racing in Indiana.” said NOW600 Founder, Terry Mattox. “With us working together we will be able to promote the drivers that race at Circus City with our PR package as well as let drivers compete against other drivers at tracks across the country.”
The SpeedPlex will return to racing on Saturday, April 22 for the Micro Sprint Spring Showdown.
