Maverick Elkins Breaks Through with NOW600 Tel-Star Ark-La-Tex Region at 105 Speedway

CLEVELAND, Texas (August 25, 2019) - Maverick Elkins broke through and picked up his first NOW600 Tel-Star Technologies Ark-La-Tex Region event on Saturday at 105 Speedway.

18 Stock Non-Wing Micro Sprints were in attendance for the Saturday Night Showdown in South Texas.

Maverick Elkins who started on the outside of the front row picked up the feature event win. Weldon Buford crossed in the runner up spot with Bash Ferguson rounding out the podium. Cody Duke came from seventh to finish in fourth. Dustin Maxwell rounded out the top five.

Kamirin Cook from tenth finished in sixth. Tyler Brown crossed in the seventh spot. Eighth went to Dustin Hamelmann. 18th starting Wyatt Bruce charged to a ninth place finish. Kendyl Guillot rounded out the top ten.

Buford, Elkins and Bash Ferguson were victorious in heat race competition.

Next up for the Ark-La-Tex Region will be Sunday, Sept. 1 in a co-sanction event with the POWRi Lonestar 600's at Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas.
